   Plum is one of the most cultivated plants in the United States, Europe, Japan, China, as well as in Indonesia. Because the plums contain nutrients that are beneficial to health. The color of the plums can be colored: yellowish cream, red, easy blue or green depending on the type of cultivar. The taste produced from plums is: sweetness with a distinctive and fragrant aroma.

The benefits for health are:

Control diabetes
Maintain blood sugar levels
Prevent osteoporosis
Promotes digestion
Improve cognitive abilities


 Because in plums there are nutrients and low calorie content, namely: 46 calories per 100 grams and does not contain saturated fat, but contains many good ingredients for health such as mineral and vitamin content.

  In addition, the contents of the fibers of serbitol and isatin are known to help regulate the digestive system and also relieve constipation. Plum is a source of vitamin C and is also a powerful natural antioxidant and there is also vitamin A which is very important for eye vision, consuming fruits that are rich in viamin A is found to protect the lungs and oral cancer.   

  Plum also provides about 5% RDA levels of vitamin K. Vitamin K is very important for many clotting factors in the blood and helps reduce Alzheimer's disease in the elderly.

     In addition to the health of plums, it can also be used as a daily meal menu and can also be used for additional salads, cakes, jams, jelly, ice cream and desserts.
